For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Exodus 34:14

When I think of Exodus 34:14, I think of this Keith Green song called "I Pledge My Head To Heaven." Keith pledges himself, his wife, and his son to heaven. If we are married we should never hold our spouse or children above God. We should never make people or things idols in our lives. And not only should we never make people and things idols but we should NEVER make our own self an idol. Trust me when I say I've wasted time on myself and my problems and made an idol of my petty self instead of praising and worshiping God.

Never heard this song until the other day when I received my CDs that I order from Best Buy. This song was on the album The Ministry Years 1977-1979. I really liked this song.
